Are you interested in taking English classes in Piedmont? Piedmont Adult School offers free weekly English classes for anyone 18 or older.

NOTE: Spring Session classes are currently full. Registration for the Fall session will begin in August.

When?

Classes for the spring 2024 session run jan 17 - May 29

  • Beginning:   Mondays, 7:00-8:30pm, Jan.22-May 20
  • Intermediate/Advanced:  Wednesdays, 7:00-8:30pm, Jan 17-May 29

 

Where?

Millennium High School Rm 47A, 760 Magnolia Avenue, Piedmont

How Do I Register?

  • Take an Appraisal test to determine your level. Please call our office at (510) 594-2717 to schedule a time to take the test.

  • Complete the registration form when you come in to take the Appraisal.

 

Meet Your Teacher

We are excited to welcome our new community class teacher Giena Vogel. Giena taught ESL classes in San Diego, and now works at Havens Elementary School as a reading specialist. Growing up, her grandparents spoke only Spanish or Korean, and both of her parents spoke English as a second language.  As an English learner herself, Giena has a deep appreciation for others who are learning a new language.
